CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair Frame Beech
The CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair Frame Beech has been created by Hans J. Wegner & Ilse Crawford for the brand Carl Hansen. Incarnating Nordic design hallmarks of simplicity, functionality and timeless aesthetics, this chair was created by Wegner in 1949. It has since been updated by Crawford, adding modern technical touches while retaining the stunning design.
The CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair Frame Beech has an eye-catching frame made of FSC®™-certified beech and a seat made of natural paper cord. It takes its name from the wishbone-shaped backrest that features an elegantly curved upper edge and turns inwards at the edges to form delicately sculpted armrests. The seat rests on sturdy rounded legs and a pair of horizontal bars to provide extra support.
The CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair Frame Beech has a width of 55cm, a height of 76cm and a depth of 51cm, with an armrest height of 70cm and a seat height of 45cm. The wooden frame has a hollyhock colour, while the cord seat has a pewter tone. All-in-all, hand production requires over 100 steps, and the effort is rewarded with a timeless, graceful and superbly comfortable seat.
