Cloud Wall Lamp
The Cloud Wall Lamp has been created in-house for the brand Ferm Living. Set up by Trine Andersen in 2005, in Sweden, Ferm Living promotes holistic living in tune with the environment, yet enjoys using the contrasts found in the natural resources around us. Believing in honest, transparent design, this is a company which continually and consciously seeks to increase sustainable, ecologically sound practices. It maintains this by fostering long term relationships with craftspeople and suppliers who have the same aims.
The Cloud Wall Lamp is a lovely, witty example of natural contrasts. A slim wooden plaque, shaped like a cloud, sits slightly raised from the wall, with a light that shines out from behind when switched on. Made in either colored, lacquered plywood or oiled oak, the light has a soft sheen finish and it measures 25cm in height and 40cm in width. The appropriate light G4 light bulb can be ordered under accessories. The Cloud Wall Lamp works beautifully for a child's bedroom, but could also be used to great effect in sets as a fun wall design for a breakfast room or recreation room.
