Gräshoppa Floor Lamp glossy
The Gräshoppa Floor Lamp glossy has been created by Greta Magnusson Grossman for the brand Gubi. The 1947 lamp has been relaunched with upgrades that bring it to the contemporary side. Most of its original features have been retained, including the favoured 1970s glossy finishes.
The Gräshoppa Floor Lamp glossy has a shade shaped into an elongated cone. It can be rotated, which makes it possible to cast light precisely where it is needed. The pivoting shade is made of steel finished with high-gloss powder coating. A brass-toned fixture enables the pivoting movement and accompanies the high-shine look well. The shade is supported by a tripod-shaped stand that has a disc-shaped base under each slender metallic stem. The longest one is bent at the top to form a short arm that holds the shade. This works not only for aesthetics but also to create the form of the grasshopper that it is named after.
The Gräshoppa Floor Lamp glossy has a width of 37.5cm, a height of 125cm and a depth of 43.5cm. The textile cable that has the on/off switch has a 230cm. It is not dimmable. It is available in neutral and earthy tones and uses an E14 socket.
