Journal Office Table
The Journal Office Table has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Danish industrial designer Legald's pieces are often the final product of an effort to be contemporary and also pay homage to traditional Nordic design fundamentals. He also pays attention to the aesthetic value of a product as well as to its functionality. This is well illustrated by the Journal Office Table. Its design is clean and simple, which helps to give anyone using it an uncluttered mind that can think clearly. It is a desktop made of HPL laminate that is finished in the same colour as the frame, which is made of powder-coated steel. The edges of the desktop are finished with the detail of oak edging which contrasts smartly with the painted top. The desk has an inbuilt wire grommet and a silicone opening for power cables. A steel drawer underneath provides space to store stationery and other supplies.
The Journal Office Table has a height of 74cm, a length of 130cm and a depth of 65cm. With its compact size, it can be used in a bedroom as a study desk or in a home office. It is available in a selection of colours.
