Kizu Table Lamp S
The Kizu Table Lamp S has been created by Lars Tornøe Studio for the brand New Works.It is dedicated to creating pieces that pay homage to Scandinavian design tradition but are also contemporary. The designer did just that with the Kizu Table Lamp S. This sculptural lamp has a cylinder-shaped base with a diffuser formed into a semi-sphere on top of it. The appearance of the lamp creates intrigue because of the illusion that the broad diffuser could topple over the column-shaped base where the two connect. The intrigue is intensified by the conflicting shapes of the two elements. The base is made of dark or light-coloured marble while the shade is made of white acrylic that either blends with the lightly coloured base or contrasts strikingly with the dark base.
The Kizu Table Lamp S has a height of 35cm and a diameter of 25cm. It has a cable made of PVC that is 180cm long. The switch is located on the cord 30cm from the base of the lamp. The appropriate bulb with an E14 socket can be ordered under accessories. This geometric lamp looks good sitting on a side table in a living room or an entryway where it will send out an elegant welcome.
