Pegasus Home Desk
The Pegasus Home Desk was created by the Ippolito Fleitz Group and Tilla Goldberg for the German label ClassiCon.
ClassiCon creates classics of the future by taking the original work of designers and recreating authentic replicas in limited numbers. Tilla Goldberg is head of project design at the Ippolito Fleitz design studio in Stuttgart. Founded in 2002 the studio works on multidisciplinary projects and is one of the most successful design studios in Germany.
With the Pegasus Home Desk, Tilla Goldberg brings together the qualities and appearance of artisan leatherwork with the needs of the modern digital life. Its office functionality blends with the elegance of a well-crafted piece of domestic furniture. The tabletop is constructed from thick rolled-edge leather and folds upwards to ingeniously reveal an intelligent arrangement of cable passages and storage compartments, designed to take a laptop, tablet, mobile phone, charging stations and home office supplies. The leather top is perforated to give visual texture and ventilation and is finished with solid walnut trims. The attractive height-adjustable frame is crafted from powder-coated steel and the interior compartments are made of matte-lacquered HPL. The dimensions of the Pegasus Home Desk are 110 x 75 x 46 cm.
