The Slope Double Bed 160x200cm is made of birch wood. It is protected with a CPL overlay that has been done everywhere except around the edges. The contrast of the warm tones of the wood and the laminate creates a decorative element based on disparity. The bed is christened Slope after the shape of its headboard. It is made of two long slabs joined with slanted edges. The shelf they form is divided into cubicles. The upper slab has openings for power cables such as for phones and tablets. A push-to-open mechanism on these shelves will reveal more storage hidden behind them. The frame creates the illusion that is floating. Rather, than the customary four legs, the sloped headrest extends forward to support the frame on the side. At the other end, it is supported by a slab that is hidden from view.
